Wealth Company Private Limited, the asset management arm of the Pantomath Group, has appointed Unmesh Kulkarni as its Managing Director.
Kulkarni, who has nearly three decades of experience in wealth management and capital markets, will lead the group's product strategy and innovation initiatives.
He was a founding member of the wealth management businesses of Merrill Lynch and Julius Baer in India. Most recently, he served as Head – Markets and Investment Management at Julius Baer India and was a member of the management committee. His responsibilities included product and platform development, investment strategy and communication, equities and fixed income trading, investment advisory, and asset management across PMS and AIFs.
Earlier, he held senior roles at DSP Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and ICICI Bank International Private Banking.
Kulkarni holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta and a BTech (Hons.) in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.
