ITC Hotels' stock fell 5.44% to Rs 173.50 per share on the NSE at about 3:20 pm on Thursday. It was slightly higher before the results were announced.

The company said its consolidated net profit for the June quarter fell 43% quarter‑on‑quarter to Rs 180.25 crore, down from Rs 315.89 crore in the March quarter.

Revenue from operations dropped 26% sequentially to Rs 7.22 crore from Rs 9.82 crore in the previous quarter.

Profit fell even though total expenses were cut by 16% quarter‑on‑quarter.

This June quarter loss is the biggest drop in profit and revenue since the demerger in January 2025. It is the steepest sequential decline.

On a year‑on‑year basis, profit grew 35% and revenue rose 15%, showing a positive long‑term trend.

ITC Hotels also announced it will buy GHK Hospitality & Infrastructures for Rs 155 crore to strengthen its presence in Ahmedabad.

The company said the acquisition will be finished in the September quarter and will be done on a cash, debt‑free basis.

The deal will help ITC Hotels tap Ahmedabad’s year‑round demand.
