LAPL Automotive, an auto‑components maker based in Aurangabad, is launching its first public offering on 6 August. Shares will be priced in a band of Rs 88 to Rs 94 each, a range that could bring in about Rs 32.4 cr at the top end.
The IPO will consist of 34.46 lakh fresh equity shares. This is a new issue, with no existing shares being sold.
The book‑building period will begin on 5 August and close on 10 August. Allotment is expected on 11 August, and the company plans to list on the BSE SME platform on 13 August.
LAPL Automotive works under both ODM and OBM models. It makes automotive lighting, mirrors and plastic‑moulded parts across three plants in Aurangabad.
In FY 26, 78 % of its revenue came from the ODM business, while the OBM side contributed the remaining 22 %.
From the net issue proceeds, Rs 19.56 cr will fund a new manufacturing plant, Rs 4.8 cr will pay down debt, and the rest will be used for general corporate purposes.
The new plant will produce lighting systems, electrical accessories and electronic components. The company also plans to start making some raw‑material parts in‑house that are currently bought from vendors.
For the year ended March 2026, profit rose 71.4 % to Rs 8.6 cr from Rs 5.03 cr a year earlier, while revenue grew 41.3 % to Rs 93.3 cr from Rs 66 cr.
GYR Capital Advisors is the sole book‑runner for the issue.
Investors can expect the shares to be listed on BSE SME on 13 August, after the allotment on 11 August.
