Antony Waste Handling Cell announced on Tuesday that it has signed a ₹243.22 crore contract with the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) for a five‑year period.
Under the agreement, Antony Waste will deliver electric mechanical road sweeping machines (MRSMs) and provide full operations and maintenance for roads in Greater Noida’s East Zone.
The company is an integrated waste‑management firm that specialises in mechanical road sweeping, waste collection and transport, and waste‑to‑energy projects.
In the quarter ended 30 June 2026, Antony Waste reported total operating revenue of ₹260 crore, a 6% rise year‑on‑year, driven by higher volumes at project sites and tariff‑led price increases.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹45 crore, giving a margin of 16.8%. The margin was affected by increased operating costs, including vehicle hiring and transport expenses at the CIDCO plant.
Profit after tax was ₹0.7 crore, impacted by a one‑time ₹7 crore expense for pre‑payment of the term loan of Antony Lara Renewable Energy. The company refinanced the loan in the quarter, cutting the interest rate by 200 basis points to 8.25% from 10.25%.
C&T volumes rose about 5% year‑on‑year to 0.55 million tonnes, while processing volumes grew roughly 6% to 0.85 million tonnes. Total municipal solid waste handled increased about 5% to 1.40 million tonnes.
The deal and strong financials position Antony Waste to expand its road‑sweeping operations and support Greater Noida’s clean‑city initiatives.
