The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee met on August 12, with Industries Minister MB Patil presiding. The committee cleared 83 industrial projects, totaling an investment of ₹6,252.86 crore.
Out of the 83 projects, 69 are located outside Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural districts, aligning with the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ strategy to spread industrial growth across the state.
Investment categories: 24 projects above ₹50 crore bring ₹4,702.99 crore and 25,170 jobs. Fifty‑seven projects between ₹15 crore and ₹50 crore contribute ₹1,291.87 crore and 4,884 jobs. Two smaller projects under ₹15 crore add ₹258 crore and more jobs.
The approved projects cover integrated industrial parks, aerospace and defence manufacturing, food processing, IT services, and renewable energy. Key approvals include JASWIN Ventures’ integrated park and township in Doddaballapura (₹475 crore, 12,000 jobs), Jampana Construction’s park in the same taluk (₹465 crore, 2,500 jobs), Shrishail Mallikarjun Distillery’s sugar and ethanol plant in Vijayapura (₹453.10 crore, 350 jobs), and Axiscades Aerospace’s MRO cluster in Devanahalli (₹426 crore, 2,500 jobs).
Other notable investors are Leafiniti BioEnergy, Blueline Foods India, Sonder Projects and Lands, Arete 22 Limited, Sunstar Precision Forge, Sonder Infra, Blueline Infratech, Elmeasure India, ONDOT Corporate, GRB Dairy Foods, and Pathikonda Balasubbasetty and Son.
During the same meeting, MB Patil announced that Lufthansa Technik is considering Bengaluru for expansion. The German firm’s delegation, led by CEO Marcel Pastuska, reviewed the city’s aviation ecosystem, skilled workforce, and supportive policies. The state will collaborate with Invest India to advance the proposal, potentially cementing Karnataka’s role as a global aerospace hub.
Overall, the approvals are expected to generate more than 30,054 jobs, strengthening Karnataka’s industrial base and supporting balanced regional development.
