Page Industries Ltd reported a 4 per cent decline in net profit for the June quarter, bringing the figure down to ₹192.80 crore. The company had earned ₹200.8 crore in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue from operations grew 7.9 per cent, reaching ₹1,420.44 crore in the first quarter of FY27. This compares with ₹1,316.56 crore earned during the corresponding period last year.
Sales volume rose by 5.7 per cent to 61.2 million pieces, showing steady demand for the brand.
Page Industries is the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc (USA) for markets in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Maldives, Bhutan and the UAE.
Total expenses increased 10.5 per cent to ₹1,172.48 crore in the quarter, reflecting higher cost of sales and operating costs.
Total income for the quarter climbed 7.48 per cent YoY to ₹1,431.05 crore.
Managing Director V S Ganesh said the company is confident about the rest of the year. He highlighted encouraging consumer demand, the launch of new product lines aimed at younger customers, and a focus on operational excellence and digitalisation to boost efficiency and growth.
Shares of Page Industries closed 3.44 per cent lower at ₹36,789.95 on the BSE.
