SBI Mutual Fund raised its stake in Urban Company by buying 3.15 crore equity shares, which equals 2.04% of the company’s paid‑up equity. The shares were traded at ₹136 each, amounting to a total purchase of ₹428.4 crore. Prior to this transaction, the asset manager already owned 6.59% of the company as of June 2026.
Urban Company shares showed strong movement during the day, closing 1.65% higher at ₹141.34 on the National Stock Exchange. The price rise followed the large block trade by SBI Mutual Fund.
Several global investors sold shares in Urban Company. Vy Capital’s vehicles, VYC11 and VY EM2, sold 96.31 lakh and 18.68 lakh shares respectively, fetching ₹130.98 crore and ₹25.41 crore, which represents about 0.74% of the paid‑up equity. Accel India IV (Mauritius) also sold 2 crore shares, a 1.3% stake, for ₹272 crore.
Bessemer India Capital Holdings II, owned by a U.S. venture firm, divested 1.21 crore shares (0.78% stake) at ₹140.15 per share, valuing the sale at ₹170.19 crore.
The June 2026 shareholding pattern shows VYC11 holding 7.37% of Urban Company, Accel India IV (Mauritius) at 6.99%, and Bessemer India Capital at 5.05%.
In a separate transaction, Shirish Govindbhai Patel sold 2.3 lakh shares of Prudent Corporate Advisory Services at ₹3,325.27 each, generating ₹76.48 crore. Patel’s stake in the company was 2.25%, which was 9.31% of the total shares as of June 2026.
RPP Infra Projects saw active trading as well. Chennai‑based Diva Projects purchased 8.48 lakh shares at ₹58.88 each, spending ₹4.99 crore and boosting its stake to 5.1% over three consecutive sessions. Meanwhile, promoter Yagavi N A sold 11.66 lakh shares at ₹59.07 each, amounting to ₹6.88 crore. Since last week, promoters have reduced their holding by 9.87%, dropping from 39.18% to 29.31% as of June 2026.
Vijay Mohan Karnani acquired 11.79 lakh shares in Renaissance Global at ₹110.14 per share for ₹12.98 crore, giving him a 1.09% stake. The stock price rose 0.91% to ₹111.14 amid high trading volumes on the NSE.
360 ONE Pipe Fund bought 2 lakh shares of Seamec at ₹1,529.25 per share, valuing the purchase at ₹30.69 crore and securing a 0.79% stake in the company.
